Five druggies were snared in a police sting on Tuesday in Kampong Chhnang. After receiving information about a nearby drug den, police surrounded the location before closing in.

Panicked, the ensnared drug enthusiasts attempted to destroy much of their stash, but were too slow off the mark.

Police confiscated three cellphones, one drug scale, and the other usual accoutrements of seasoned junkies, as well as the remaining narcotics.
