Druggie arrested after flashing stash at cops

Two capital men were arrested on drugs charges in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Tuesday, when fate intervened on their moto ride home from a drugs purchase.

They crashed into another moto, injuring one suspect, and soon police arrived on the scene, to the alarm of the remaining suspect.

Having squirrelled his stash in a cigarette box earlier, he indiscreetly abandoned it in sight of the cops, piquing police interest in both man and box, which led to the arrests.
