On drugs, ‘arsonist’ turned in by family

A family turned their down-in-the-dumps relative over to police officials on Wednesday after an arson attempt.

The family caught their 23-year-old relative trying to set houses in Kampot’s Kampog Trach district, including his own, on fire during a drug-addled haze.

The family claims the man lost his job and then illegally sought work in Thailand where he became an addict. Koh Santepheap
