The “wau” or traditional kite flying is a popular sport in rural areas.

A wasted man driving home from a relative’s wedding in his Lexus on Saturday night lost control of his vehicle, smashing into four barricades in front of the Vietnamese Embassy in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district.

With flat tyres preventing his getaway, the man ran off on foot. When police opened the car, they found it littered with beer cans. It has been impounded, awaiting the owner to settle.
