Drunk driver destroys road barrier in capital

A drunk driver did some impromptu landscaping on a road median in Phnom Penh yesterday.

Sources said the man was not only drunk but speeding, causing him to lose control of his Lexus and drive right into a patch of trees on the median, causing a few to snap and topple.

The car’s front end took damage as well. Police have impounded the vehicle, pending a fine against the driver.
