Drunk driver destroys tuk-tuk with Toyota

A trolleyed Toyota driver trashed a tuk-tuk on Tuesday night. The tuk-tuk’s driver was waiting for a customer outside a guesthouse in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district when the Toyota ploughed into his vehicle.

Behind the wheel of the car was a young woman, who, along with her friend riding shotgun, was reportedly drunk.

Police arrived on the scene soon after, delivering the Toyota, tuk-tuk and two women to the police station after sending the tuk-tuk driver to hospital with injuries.
