Drunk driver makes it all too easy for police

Tuol Kork traffic cops on the lookout for drunk drivers had a suspect land – quite literally – in their laps on Friday night.

An inebriated Korean expat lost control of his vehicle and slammed it straight into their post outside the Royal University of Phnom Penh.

None were injured in the incident and the hammered motorist retained just enough of his senses to pull a runner after offending in flagrante delicto. But he was quickly apprehended by police at the scene.
