Drunk driving youths miss out on concert

An 18-year-old man was arrested after he was caught driving drunk on his way to a concert on Monday night.

The suspect was pursued by police in Prey Veng province after he dodged an alcohol checkpoint and burned off on his way to the gig.

The suspect then laid a slew of insults on traffic police. The cops say the youth eventually returned a blood alcohol reading of 1.02 over the limit.

The suspect’s moto was confiscated and he will be sent to the provincial court.
