Drunk man confuses houses, stabs ‘intruder’

A case of mistaken address saw a woman stabbed on Saturday night in Sihanoukville. According to police, the woman’s neighbour was staggering home drunk when he apparently confused his house for hers.

The man banged on the door and demanded to be let in, only to fly into a rage when the woman answered the door to “his” house. Screaming questions as to why the woman was in his house, the man grabbed a nearby knife and stabbed her, only slightly injuring her thanks to the timely intervention of her husband. Deum Ampil
