Drunk moto rider pays up after ramming cop

A drunk motorbike rider was lucky to avoid injury and jail time after running into a police officer’s car.

The Interior Ministry policeman was driving through Chamkarmon district at 12:30am on Wednesday.

Witnesses said that the speeding drunk driving in the opposite direction slammed into him.

Though the bike went under the car and both vehicles were damaged, neither man was injured.

The police officer agreed to accept money for damage to his car, with no further action against the suspect.
