A drunk-driving incident narrowly avoided a shocking end in the capital’s Sen Sok district in the early hours of Saturday.

An inebriated woman was driving at a high speed when she suddenly and inexplicably veered to the right straight into an electric pole.

Police arrived on scene shortly after the incident and impounded the immovable automobile. The woman is awaiting further legal action.
