Drunkards crash food stall, not for munchies

A couple who ran a street-side food stall were seriously injured in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district when an allegedly soused club-goer slammed a car into their stall early on Tuesday morning.

Police said after careening into the stall, the driver tried to flee, but smashed into a post, cutting short his escape.

Police arrested the driver and the passenger, both of whom were drunk, and sent them to court. KOH SANTEPHEAP
