A man forgot to honour the mantra of respecting your elders when he beat his father over the head with a bamboo stick in Kandal on Tuesday evening.

The impertinent progeny came home from an evening of heavy drinking demanding dinner.

When his father explained there was no food, the enraged inebriate didn’t take no for an answer, insulting his dad and drawing blood. Cops arrested the ingrate, and sent him to court.
