Drunken problem child conks cop on cranium

It's hard to get through to some people when they’re intoxicated, a police officer in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district learned on Tuesday.

The officer was trying to calm a misbehaving drunk after the parents called police for help, police said.

The officer had left the scene to call reinforcements when he saw the man climb to the second floor of his home.

He then allegedly started throwing stones, hitting the officer on the head. The man was arrested but wasn’t sent to court after his parents offered compensation. KOH SANTEPHEAP
