Drunken row turns insults to serious injury

A 30-year-old man was arrested in Kampong Speu’s Samrong Tong district on Saturday after allegedly injuring his wife in an intoxicated spat.

According to police, the man returned from a night out to find his wife berating him for being a drunken slob, lobbing insults to the point where the man felt compelled to lob something back – a plate.

The woman was hospitalised and the man was arrested when he sheepishly returned home. Koh Santepheap
