Duo fail to take flight in capital bag snatching

An unscheduled departure for a flight attendant’s purse was halted by police yesterday morning.

Police said the young woman was riding pillion in the capital’s Sen Sok district when two men drove alongside and snatched her bag.

Not letting it go, her driver sped after the thieves, yelling and drawing the attention of passing cops, who joined the chase. The duo are now awaiting trial.
