Duo rings up $1k theft with dozing clerk’s aid

A Kampong Cham town internet shop employee apparently had never heard the phrase “you snooze, you lose” on Sunday.

After dozing off, the shop’s only two customers took advantage of his inattention and stole $1,000 from the register.

When the employee woke up, he realised the money was gone and shouted for help.

Police were able to catch one 22-year-old suspect and are on the look-out for the other crook. KOH SANTEPHEAP
