Employees didn’t wait until payday for wages

A guesthouse owner’s trust was sorely misplaced when three of his staff reportedly tried to run off with his phone and money on Saturday in Tbong Khmum’s Memot district.

The staffers were tasked with watching the property while the owner was away.

The trio were about to escape by bus when police caught up to them.
