Faced with mob, cops take a pass, not action

A 26-year-old motodop was viciously attacked by a gang of workers in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Wednesday after they accused him of being a gangster.

Cops say the man was waiting for a woman near a construction site when at least 10 workers beat him with stones and sticks.

He rode for his life on his now-damaged vehicle to a police station.

Police however, were met by the same mob, now armed with cleavers, and decided not to take action until a warrant is issued to raid the site.
