Fake gun leads to real trouble for crooked duo

Police in Phnom Penh caught up with a pair of thieves in Sen Sok district on Wednesday who used a toy gun to make off with people’s motorbikes.

Cops were alerted to their activity after a spate of complaints from their victims and, after launching an investigation, tracked down two men before raiding their home.

After being taken in for questioning, the men admitted to stealing two bikes and involvement in petty thefts. The gun was confiscated and is probably not being stored at the police armoury. KOH SANTEPHEAP
