A family's profits from the sale of a pair of cows evaporated within hours after a robbery on Sunday in Kampong Cham province.

With her husband and three children out at a party, the matron of the house found herself alone when two masked men with guns burst in.

Tossing the home, they found nothing, then turned to the woman herself.

Sure enough, after patting her down, they found the 3 million riel ($738) from the cow sale on her person.

Police say they suspect the robbers were well aware of the sale and had staked out the home.
