Farm guards go bananas after discovering thieves

A thief is in a bunch of trouble after being caught stealing bananas from a Kandal farm on Tuesday.

Police said the man was working with an accomplice when village security guards realised the duo were not farm employees.

The guards gave chase, managing to snare one of the banana bandits along with 18 bunches, a knife and a large sack. The thief has been turned over to police.
