A duck massacre left a farm with quite a bill, and two guards with serious injuries, in Prey Veng province on Sunday.

Police said the guards, 18 and 22, were asleep when a group of men set upon them with sticks and a knife. With the poultry protectors incapacitated, the suspects then proceeded to poison the farm’s 3,000 ducks.

Police said they suspect the ducks were collateral damage in a case of revenge.
