A truck loaded with over a tonne of fresh fish inadvertently delivered its load back into the river when it flipped over on the way to Phnom Penh on Friday.

The delivery driver apparently lost control of his vehicle, and to his dismay found the faulty brakes unresponsive to his desperate attempts to decelerate.

The truck rear-ended the car in front of it and went veering off the road, straight into a river.
