A pair of brassy ladies brought about the arrest of an alleged armed robber in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Saturday.

Police said the two were riding a motorbike at about 5am when four men armed with sticks and knives blocked their way and threatened to kill them if they didn’t hand over the bike.

Unperturbed, the women stood their ground and raised the alarm, attracting the attention of patrolling police. Cops managed to chase one of the suspects down, but the other three escaped. KOH SANTEPHEAP
