Female burglar tied up after being caught in act

A woman was hoping for a getaway yesterday, but work – in this case breaking and entering – left her all tied up.

Police said the suspect had waited for a factory worker to leave her rental room when she approached and began sawing through the lock.

Unfortunately for her, a group of passing villagers caught her in the act and proceeded to first relieve her of the saw and then tie her up for the police.
