A woman's tight grip thwarted an attempted bag snatching when she refused to let her purse go in Phnom Penh’s Boeung Kak II commune on Sunday.
The 49-year-old was riding her moto when a trio pulled close and tried to grab her bag.
Holding strong, both bikes went down and two of the miscreants escaped, but nearby officers were able to catch one 17-year-old suspect and are preparing documents to send him to court.
