Fleeing a beatdown, trio gets smashed up

A high-speed motorbike escape or a confrontation with armed gangsters – neither option was bound to work out for three young men caught in a tricky situation on Sunday.

The trio had argued with a group of nine supposed gangsters before fleeing by bike, chased by their stick-wielding antagonisers.

Speeding away on the wrong side of the road, the youngsters collided with an oncoming car, with one breaking his leg.

The gangsters fled before police arrived but the youths may well have escaped a much worse beating. Kampuchea Thmey
