Food fight no laughing matter for injured cook

A chef in Tbong Khmum province’s Memot district was badly injured by a hungry teen on Thursday.

According to police, the young man asked the chef, who had been hired to cook for a local wedding, for some food. When she declined, he allegedly went home, fetched a machete and returned, hacking her several times.

The woman’s husband filed a complaint to police, who found the suspected attacker the following day and arrested him. NOKORWAT
