Foolish thief nabbed after daylight drive

A suspected car thief was arrested on Friday in Ratanakkiri province. Police said a man, 28, had parked his car in front of his home one night but when he woke up the next morning, the vehicle was nowhere to be found.

After filing a complaint, the man spotted the stolen car while searching for a rental home. Police called in the vehicle's driver for questioning. But rather than admit to the crime, the suspect tried to claim he had bought the car from another police officer. Police asked the officer, he denied the claim and the suspect was swiftly sent to court. NOKORWAT
