Former drug dealer fails in career change

A 21-year-old thief playing hide and seek with a stolen moto was surrounded by a mob in Banteay Meanchey province, before police stepped in and arrested him yesterday.

Villagers apprehended the would-be thief as he was trying to hide. Police then surrounded the suspect and arrested him.

It isn’t the first brush with crime for the suspect – police said he had done time behind bars for drug trafficking in the past.

Police returned the stolen moto to the owner and are preparing to send the suspect to court.
