Four teen bandits had blades but no bravado

Four students got a lesson from the school of hard knocks yesterday when they were arrested for allegedly attempting to steal a motorbike at sword-point.

Police said the four suspects, all 16, had cornered the victim and brandished their blades but, when he called for help, their resolve vanished and they tried to flee on two motos.

Police gave chase, stopping the suspects and confiscating an airgun, a samurai sword and a machete before locking up the delinquents.
