Strapped for cash and wanting to knock a few back on his day off, a Phnom Penh construction worker took things too far on Sunday.
The 28-year-old had polished off several cups of rice wine with his pals when he checked his pockets and came up empty.
When a friend refused to give him the small change for another round, a row broke out and he left only to return with a meat cleaver, which he took to the victim’s head. He was arrested later that night. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
