A 35-year-old motorbike taxi driver was apprehended on Friday for allegedly defrauding money and a mobile phone from an ex-customer in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district.

The woman told police she had given the man a cash loan and a mobile phone to pawn. Though the pair agreed he’d pay the money back within four months, the man disappeared, and tried to do the same again after she spotted him in the street.
