Friendship on borrowed time after moto theft

A Siem Reap man was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of attempting to steal a motorbike.

Police said the man had borrowed a friend’s moto before and returned it but failed to bring it back after borrowinging it a second time.

Thinking something was amiss, the moto’s owner looked for his friend, and spotted him riding it. Seeing the owner, the suspect ditched the bike and fled, only to be arrested.

The man, however, claimed that he had no intention of stealing the bike. Koh Santepheap
