A wanted 21-year-old was arrested on Tuesday in Poipet town after making an ill-advised return to the scene of a brutal attack.
Police said the man was one of three people who had hacked a villager in the Banteay Meanchey border town seven months prior, leaving the victim unconscious in a pool of blood.
While cops captured one of the trio at the scene, the other two managed to flee.
But now just one remains at large, after our suspect returned from his hiding place in Siem Reap town only to find police and a warrant waiting for him.
