A young man on Wednesday called his girlfriend to drive him and his moto home from a night of drinking and karaoke fun – a wise move – unfortunately, a lot can happen while waiting.

In the wee hours our inebriated friend found himself in the parking lot of a Daun Penh district high school surrounded by four thugs armed with a rifle and a “samurai sword”.

A slashed hand, lost moto and hospital visit were the end result.
