Funeral thief almost laid low by angry mob

A Phnom Penh recyclables collector set a new low for thieving in the Kingdom when he tried to steal a motorbike from a funeral on Sunday.

But he was lucky not to end up in a casket himself after being caught by relatives of the deceased while walking the bike to a key maker.

Led by a man who was mourning the death of his mother, the group beat the man black and blue before turning him over to police. Koh Santepheap
