Fury at paltry sales of poultry leads to attack

A father and his son were arrested on Friday in Svay Rieng town after brutally beating a woman and her husband for selling more chickens than them.

The father and son, aged 53 and 20, arrived at the couple’s stall, punching the woman, 27, in the face and knocking her head against the wall.

The husband, 31, tried to intervene and was slightly injured. After police arrested them, the father-son duo confessed they were furious with the couple’s financial success. NOKORWAT
