Gamblers lose as police raid their illegal venue

An illegal gambling operation in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district was shut down on Tuesday, after police received complaints from neighbours about the racket.

Cops said they observed students and small children going into the house ahead of the raid, which resulted in six suspects being arrested.

While the minors were sent to be educated about the ills of gambling, those old enough were sent to court. KOH SANTEPHEAP
