Gambling big, women get nabbed for lottery

Two women were arrested in the capital’s Por Sen Chey district on Wednesday for allegedly opening their home for illegal gambling.

Police said that authorities suspected some dicey activity in the house and decided to bust the operation.

However, when police arrived, most of the players fled the scene and authorities only managed to arrest the two homeowners.

The pair confessed to running an illegal lottery at their house for nearly one year and have been sent to court.
