Game over for unlucky gamblers in capital

Two illegal gamblers were arrested after the police raided a house in the capital’s Prampi Makara district on Sunday.

The 46-year-old man and 55-year-old woman – both seasoned veterans in the illicit world of games of chance – had their playing board and $30 of cash confiscated before being hauled away to the district office.

They’ll need more than gamblers’ luck to be acquitted.
