Gang robbery lands 3 in jail; 7 still at large

Three men were sent to the Daun Penh district police station yesterday after they robbed two motorists.

Witnesses said the victims were coming back from Sorya Mall at half past midnight when a group of 10 young men and women chased them on four motorbikes, knocked them over, and whipped them with belts.

The victims ran away, leaving their moto behind. However, a lone cop witnessed the whole scene and called backup, who helped arrest three of the 10 suspects.
