Police in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district are on the lookout for two men who allegedly shot and robbed a garment worker in the small hours of Wednesday morning.

The male worker, 23, was chatting with a friend when the two alleged criminals, armed with a gun, demanded the worker give up his bike.

The victims tried to escape, but to no avail: the garment worker was shot once in the stomach, while his friend was slightly injured. Both were hospitalised.
