Good Samaritan gets bad beating in Phnom Penh

A touch to the head set off a touchy drunk in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Saturday.

According to police, the man was driving his moto drunk when he crashed in the street.

A local resident rushed out to help him, but in the proud tradition of no good deed going unpunished, he drew the ire of the drunk for touching his head.

The drunk lashed out at the man with his wine bottle, leaving him seriously injured. The local called police, who arrived on the scene and arrested the irate ingrate. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
