Grand Theft Auto style robbery doesn’t pan out

A Battambang moto thief’s success was short-lived after police caught up with him just an hour after the crime on Monday.

The 24-year-old had seen a teen in Ratanak Mondol district sitting on a motorbike and talking on his cell phone.

After punching the distracted moto owner off his bike, the suspect zoomed off on the wheels. The teen called the police immediately, and blocked roads gave the suspect nowhere to go but jail. KOH SANTEPHEAP
