A mechanic was arrested on Sunday in Svay Rieng town for allegedly slamming his motorbike into a pedestrian, leaving him badly injured.

Police said the mechanic was speeding when he crashed into the other man from behind, breaking both of the man’s legs and receiving minor injuries of his own.

The rider was immediately arrested and the injured man sent to hospital.
