A business deal gone sour ended up causing one man a real headache on Tuesday evening in Svay Rieng province’s Svay Chrum district.

Around 8pm, the victim went to collect some cash from a man for topsoil used in a landscaping project, but rather than stumping up, the man bashed his victim’s head with a shovel, leading to his arrest and hospital for the latter.

He justified his actions by claiming to have been incensed by his victim’s audacity to ask for payment that late in the day.
