A grocery vendor was arrested in Battambang’s Phnom Phreok district yesterday, after police uncovered her illicit side-business selling more than vegetables.
After a tip-off, police raided the woman’s house and found 82 yama pills stashed in cigarette packets.
Despite the apparently incriminating evidence against the rogue grocer, the woman – who was been on the authorities’ radar for some time – has yet to confess, but remains in district police custody.
