Guard shot in back as burglars target home

Attempted burglars allegedly shot a Kratie province security guard in the back when they tried to break into the house he guarded on Tuesday.

As the small group of thieves tried to get inside, the guard stepped outside, police said.

One of the suspects then fired at him, hitting the victim’s back. Police went to the scene after hearing the gunshots.

The man was hospitalised and all suspects evaded arrest. KOH SANTEPHEAP
